A government sponsored organisation that can direct you to information on legal-aid and to law firms that carry out work on a pro-bono basis. It also provides information about what your legal rights are.
The Law Society
The body that regulates and represents solicitors in England and Wales. You can get information on the activities of various Panels and Schemes such as the Family Law Panel and the Civil and Commercial Mediation Panel. Also find an accredited solicitor for expert advice on a specific issue.
