According to a survey carried out by Will Aid, 62% of people in the UK prefer to use a solicitor to draw up and manage their will than using do-it-yourself or off-the-shelf options.
This research showed that the majority of participants believed that using a solicitor to make a will was the best way to make sure their wishes were taken care of. Of the remaining participants, 12% used a will-writer, 9% made their own will, and 17% chose banks and high street services or DIY kits.
